Rescue crews say a grass fire that first broke out Wednesday afternoon in southwest Miami-Dade is 100 percent contained as of Thursday morning.
The fire was reported on the property Larry & Penny Thompson Park at Eureka Drive and Southwest 132nd Place.
Officials with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue say about 50 acres were impacted. Park officials say no one was injured in the fire.
Footage showed flames and smoke at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
