A former Southwest Florida firefighter who was arrested for allegedly sending naked photos to an underage girl was arrested again this past week.
NBC affiliate WBBH-TV reports that 28 year-old Nicholas Macchiarolo was arrested Friday for alleged shoplifting at a Target store in Naples.
Collier County Sheriff’s deputies say that Macchiarolo was shoplifting at the store on three occasions in October and earlier this month at the self-checkout area by not ringing up each item.
Macchiarolo was charged with retail theft under $100 and taken to jail.
He had previously been arrested in 2018 after a girl who had known Macchiarolo for several years said he sent her two photos of his penis over social media and talked about having sex with her. He plead no contest to charges that included sending harmful images to a minor.
The fire chief in Marco Island, where Macchiarolo worked at the time of his arrest, said he was fired after entering that plea.
