In South Florida, he's a household name. Whether you call him Chad Johnson or Ochocinco, he is recognized every day.
But Robert McGee, the former Miami Dolphins player's new best friend, has no idea about Johnson's fame.
McGee is a homeless man who goes by the nickname "Pork Chop."
Last week, Pork Chop was asking passersby for some help near David's Cafe in Miami Beach when Johnson walked by.
"I said, I'll do you better, so I purchased something for him where we could sit down, talk, and have fun. I had coffee," Johnson said. "He had whatever he drinks."
They sat and talked all day. They even went shopping together and Pork Chop got a new outfit from Urban Outfitters. That was a week ago. Since then, the two have been inseparable.
Pork Chop doesn't have a phone, so some of Chad's more than four million followers on Twitter help him locate the man. Then the two get together and have a lot of laughs.
For Pork Chop, Johnson is a lifesaver.
"He's helped me. He makes me feel good. I love you Chad," the man said.

Johnson said he's going to keep hanging out with his friend Pork Chop until he is back on his feet.
"I'm not done with him until he's off these streets, working, and in a house," Johnson said.
