A Florida inmate is facing additional charges after he was caught on camera attacking a corrections officer.
Xavier Washington was already locked up in Marion County when the attack happened Friday, WESH reported.
Authorities said Washington was being disruptive and had been asked to go to a holding cell when the attack happened.
Washington had been warned he would be pepper-sprayed and when he was hit with the spray, he punched the officer and slammed him to the ground.
Three more officers responded and were able to pull Washington off the officer. Washington was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer.
