Fired Coconut Creek Preschool Teacher Ordered Held Without Bond on 2 More Molestation Charges

Olakunle Omomowo, 38, now faces four counts of lewd and lascivious molestation

A Broward judge ordered a former Coconut Creek preschool teacher held on no bond Thursday after he was charged with two additional counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

Broward Circuit Judge John Hurley said he found probable cause against Olakunle Omomowo, 38, for the additional counts. Omomowo appeared remotely via video during the brief court appearance.

Omomowo appeared before the judge earlier this month on two initial counts of lewd and lascivious molestation for allegedly touching the vaginal area under the clothing of two little girls in a classroom at Discovery Preschool in Coconut Creek, according to an arrest affidavit.

Hurley said Thursday that authorities found two more alleged victims in addition to the two that Omomowo faced charges on before, so now there are four alleged victims. Further details about the additional charges were not immediately available.
