Firefighters were able to put out a large fire at a mobile home park in the Gladeview neighborhood of Northwest Miami-Dade County on Thursday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said more than 13 of their units responded to the fire at Palm Lakes Mobile Home Park in the area of 2900 block and NW 79th Street, where two mobile homes were completely engulfed in flames.

First responders were able to knock down the main body of the fire by about 9 a.m., but crews then had to battle to put out hotspots, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
Strong winds and tight space at the mobile home park made it difficult to reach the flames.

"The particular challenge in these types of properties is the access to it, and it's really highly congested and tight and difficult to get to," Miami Dade-Fire Rescue Operations Division Chief Michael Eng said. "There's a lot of debris and material all around as well as inside… And some of the structural damage has made it difficult to get to some of the deep-seeded fires."
By noon, the blaze was finally out.
Authorities said there were no reported injuries.

Rescuers banged on Alvin Henriquez's door and told him to get out.
"I almost went crazy," he said, leaving his trailer with just the clothes on his back.
The blaze extended to additional units, authorities said, but it was not clear how many or what the extent of the damage was. Firefighters said they are still assessing the damage.
Aerial images showed people who appeared to be distressed residents standing by, consoling each other and watching crews battle the blaze. Video also captured sparks flying from a power pole as firefighters surrounded the structure on fire.
The mobile home park was the site of another fire in August, in which one person was killed. Eng said that fire is not likely related to this one.
