A deadly crash involving at least three cars left at least one person dead near a Shell gas station in Broward County's city of Sunrise Friday morning.
The incident occurred in Sunrise by the intersection of University Drive and NE 26th Street. Traffic was blocked on several lanes as officials investigated the deadly collision.
Officials are urging commuters to seek alternate routes.
Aerial images captured by Chopper 6 showed a white pickup truck on top of another vehicle, while a third vehicle lay in ruins some distance away.
Officials said one man was pronounced dead at the scene, while two men who were ejected from the truck were taken to nearby hospitals as trauma alerts.
Another man suffered minor injuries. It was unknown what caused the crash.
