The family of a missing 19-year-old woman was in Sweetwater Friday to distribute flyers about her disappearance.
Although Natanalie Marie Perez has been missing since June, authorities told NBC 6 South Florida that she was seen at Dolphin Mall as recently as August.
“Well, the tip we received was a fairly recent tip, and we're following up,” said Detective Jose Rojas with the Miami Police Department. “Hopefully, by passing out flyers, and members of the media bringing attention to it, we'll develop more leads and find this girl.”

Perez, a 5-foot-1-inch teenager who weighs 120 pounds, was last seen at Burke's Motel on Southwest 8th Street, where it's believed she was living.
"Mama, we miss you," said her mother, Ana Gutierrez. "We want you home. Please, come home."
Her family, who drove from Sebring to bring attention to the case, said she came to South Florida to live with a friend.

“We're asking that individual to please speak out,” said her aunt Maria Perez. “This person has been running and doesn't want to speak out, and we're asking her to please speak out what she does know."

They're praying for a reunion in time for Perez's 20th birthday in less than two weeks.
“We're preparing a big party for you for your 20th birthday, and we know God's going to bring you home soon,” her aunt said.
The Miami Police Department's Special Victim's Unit is also involved in the case.
