Dolphins' Brent Grimes Reacts to Wife's Social Media Lashing

Miko Grimes' Twitter tirade against the Miami Dolphins and Quarterback Ryan Tannehill lit up social media.

Her husband, Dolphins Cornerback Brent Grimes, spoke out about his wife's social media lashing Wednesday. It appears both Grimes and Tannehill have moved on.

Following the Dolphins 18-12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Grimes' wife Miko took to Twitter, criticizing Tannehill and also some of the beat writers who cover the team.

Miko has been involved in a few social media controversies, including one where she was arrested prior to a game this season, which was caught on camera.

The latest situation was believed to be causing a locker-room riff, but both players have agreed to move past the situation. Grimes seems to have no issues with his wife's vulgarity-ladden tweets, and in a moment of unprofessional defiance from the team, they chose to stand loudly with their cornerback, while the media asked their questions.

"My wife's opinions are her opinions. It's not my opinions. I really don't understand it though, don't understand why you ask about my wife," Grimes said.

"I heard what she said and I don't really want to give it the time of day. It doesn't affect what I think about myself. The saddest part about the whole thing is we have to answer questions about it and it's becoming a distraction," Tannehill said.

The Dolphins close out the season this Sunday against the New England Patriots, which could be Grimes' last game with the team.
