Patrons at a Downtown Disney restaurant in Orlando got an up close encounter with an aquarium Monday, when the decorative tank broke and sent water -- and fish -- shooting into the dining room.
T-Rex Cafe officials said a seal failed on the tank, causing water to leak into the Orlando restaurant.
"Employees took action and did a great job rescuing all of the marine life, caring for our guests and managing the situation," the restaurant said in a Facebook post.
Witnesses told the Orlando Sentinel that employees began scooping up the fish in nets before using squeegees and trash cans to clear out the water and debris. In a video posted by NBC affiliate WPTV, the steady stream of water appears to gush out onto an empty table, though one witness said people were sitting beneath the tank when it sprung a leak.
The incident did not cause the restaurant to close and no injuries were reported.
The marine life in the tank has been moved to temporary holding tanks.
