An investigation was underway after a man was found shot to death in a Pompano Beach neighborhood late Sunday.
Investigators responded to the scene near the 300 block of Avondale Drive shortly before midnight after receiving a report of a shooting, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

Deputies found a man who'd been shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Roderick Henry.

Surveillance footage from a nearby home showed deputies responding to the area and walking along a sidewalk with flashlights.
Few details were known but a body could be seen covered at the scene and was later removed by the medical examiner's office Monday morning.
Officials said the shooter or shooters fled the scene.

The incident happened outside a Department of Corrections facility which functions as a community release center for people released from prison.
It's unknown if anyone from the facility was involved in the shooting.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and working to determine what led to the shooting.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
