Police have arrested a Davie man who is being accussed of filming and posting several sexually explicit videos of a 16-year-old girl online.
According to a police report, 30-year-old Christopher Johnson is being charged with lewd and lascivious battery of a child younger than 16.
The victim had been missing since December of last year, when she dissapeared from her home in Sunrise and stopped attending school, the report says.
In February of 2019, police say the teen was spotted with two men at a 7-11 in Sunrise. The store's clerk said he was a family friend who recognized her and alerted the authorities. According to the clerk, the men drove a black Dodge Challenger, but he was not able to note the car's tag.
Surveillance video of the store showed the teen shielding her face and exiting immediately.
Several months later, police say the victim's mother reached out to them and said around 58 sexually explicit videos of her daughter had been posted online.
Detectives recognized the man in the videos as the same man from the 7-11, the report says.
