Fire rescue crews were battling a large blaze at a scrap yard in northwest Miami-Dade Tuesday.
The fire broke out just before 1:30 p.m. at Rastro Coco Auto Parts in the 5100 block of E. 10th Court in Hialeah.
Footage showed firefighters pouring water onto the flames as thick black smoke rose into the air.
Hialeah Fire Department spokesman David Rodriguez said around 20 units and 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which encompassed almost half a city block.

The fire was under control but crews would be working through much of the day to put it out, Rodriguez said.
"It's just very difficult to get these fires under control and get these fires out just because of the sheer volume of cars, of explosive combustibles, it makes it very very difficult," he said. "We're going to be here for a while, obviously."
There were no injuries reported, Rodriguez said.
