A child is in critical condition after an apparent near-drowning at a North Miami pool, officials say.
North Miami Police spokesperson Rafael Estrugo says authorities responded to a near drowning at 12725 NE 2nd Ave., Saturday afternoon.
When Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived, police were performing CPR on the toddler.
MDFR officials say the child was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
No further information has been made available.
