A Pompano Beach man is accused of paying for a young girl to have her hair and nails done, then demanding sex from her, according to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff's Office.

The report indicates that 44-year-old Bernard Nobles was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor.

The girl's mother told detectives that a cousin informed her that Nobles, known locally as "long dog," was engaged in a sexual relationship with her daughter.

The relative also told the mother that Nobles was reportedly HIV positive.

The mother told detectives that she immediately drove to Nobles's job and demanded to speak with him. There, another person reportedly told her this was not the first time Nobles had done that, and that he "needs to stop messing with young girls."

According to the report, the mother later confronted Nobles and accused him of raping her daughter, which he reportedly denied and even attempted to fight the mother.

The mother then went to the home of a daughter's friend and had her call the victim on speaker, during which the girl admitted that Nobles had paid for her to have her hair and nails done, then forced her to engage in several sexual acts, reportedly saying "no one says no to me."

The victim also stated that Nobles had assaulted her

Nobles denied the contact, but did confirm that he had provided the victim with money towards her hair and nails.

Nobles was arrested and charged. Records did not indicate whether he hired an attorney.
