2 Dead, 4 Injured After Shooting in Brownsville: MDPD

Two people were hospitalized and two people appeared to be dead on the scene of a shooting Friday night in Brownsville, police said.

Miami-Dade Police Department spokesperson Lee Cowart confirmed a shooting in the area of NW 27th Avenue and NW 58th Street, on the property of a convenience store.

When police arrived, they saw a large number of people running from the parking lot.

Police found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of them were dead. The other two were taken to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown. 

About two hours after the shooting, two additional victims, including an 11-year-old, approached detectives and said they were grazed by gunfire during the shooting. They were treated on the scene of the incident. 

There is no information about the shooter at this time.
