Two brothers were arrested Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of a 31-year-old man in Hialeah Gardens.
Zadiel Rivero, 38, and Zandy de la Osa, 29, were arrested and face charges of second-degree murder, according to authorities. Rivero faces a second charge of armed robbery.
It started with a violent altercation Monday night between Rivero and the victim, Frank Canet. Security cameras captured the moment Rivero stabbed Canet with a knife several times in the torso and wrestles with him to the ground in the 8900 block of NW 112 Terrace, according to an arrest report.
Authorities say de la Osa is also seen in the surveillance video holding Canet down with his left leg and also uses a metal pipe to keep him down so Rivero can keep stabbing him.
A witness at the scene drove Canet to a local clinic as Rivero tried to chase them down on foot. Canet later died.
Rivero and de la Osa were booked into jail without bond.
