Officials with the Broward County Sheriff's Office say no foul play is suspected after a body was found in the water in Lauderdale Lakes.
According to an initial release, deputies were called to reports of a body found floating in a canal near the Carefree Cove mobile home park at 3273 Northwest 37th Street in Lauderdale Lakes just after 9 a.m. Monday.
Dive team crews, along with homicide and crime scene detectives were on the scene investigating, but later told NBC 6 that it did not appear foul play was involved in the person's death.
