A body was found in the middle of a Miami-Dade road Friday morning and now police are investigating how and why it ended up there.
Officials said the body was found just after 4 a.m. near Southwest 248th Street and Southwest 107th Avenue.
Police said they suspected it was a hit-and-run, but further investigation revealed that the person did not die in a hit-and-run incident.
Officials are now treating this as a homicide and are working to figure out how the person died and how they ended up in the middle of the street.
