A 1-year-old baby was left in critical condition on Sunday evening after an apparent near-drowning in Coral Springs.
Neighbor told NBC6 that they rushed over to help -- one reportedly performing CPR while another called 911.
"The 911 operator was on the phone telling me how perform CPR,“ a neighbor said. "There was a lot of water coming out of his lungs."
Officers later arrived at the home near NW 95th Avenue and took over, authorities confirmed.

Coral Springs-Parkland Fire crews also responded before taking the baby to Broward Health Coral Springs in critical condition, according to the deputy fire chief.
