The tractor-trailer was parked in the inside emergency lane when for some reason, the driver of a Toyota Rav-4 veered into the lane and hit the tractor-trailer from behind, FHP officials said.
The driver of the Rav-4, a 30-year-old man from North Miami Beach, was taken to Broward Health North where he died from his injuries. His name wasn't released.
