- In the latest claims, Pippen says the youngest member of the family wrecked the home with crayons and markers.
Former NBA star Scottie Pippen has added a new name to the list of people he is suing for allegedly trashing his waterfront home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida – the 5-year-old daughter of the couple he claims caused over $100,000 in damages to the place.
In a story first reported by the Broward New Times, the Chicago Bulls legend is suing the child of comedian Lindsay Glazer Woloshin and her husband, Jacob, for damages caused to the home that he rented to the family after their home was damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017.
Pippen originally sued the couple last December, saying the Woloshins rented the house last year and agreed to pay $30,000 a month. Pippen alleges the Woloshins allowed pets to urinate inside, damaged furnishings, stole utensils and missed utility and rent payments.
In the latest claims, Pippen says the youngest member of the family wrecked the home with crayons and markers.
The initial lawsuit backfired on Pippen as he was forced to pay more than $13,000 more in property taxes after he allegedly misclassified the home in an effort to get additional tax benefits.
Glazer Woloshin, who is an attorney, responded to Pippen’s lawsuit by launching an online campaign to raise money for his missing silverware and later donated all money raised to military veterans.
