A man who chained himself to a crane at a Miami construction site came down after authorities responded Friday afternoon.
The incident happened at the 700 block of Northwest 2nd Street.
When police arrived to the scene, they made contact with the man, who was later identified as Diego Tintorero, 60. He told police that he was at the top of the crane for political reasons. He refused to come down, despite being told to come down by police.
Fire rescue officials and a police officer had to climb the crane to rescue the man.

The man was eventually brought down and was arrested. He is facing trespassing charges.
