A man arrested on Sunday and allegedly found with a stolen wallet had an outstanding warrant from Hollywood related to a 2003 sexual battery and kidnapping case, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
Trevor Pacquette, 37, was arrested Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, accused of grabbing a wallet from someone's car.
A deputy, who first followed Pacquette because of suspicious activity, ran Pacquette's information and saw the outstanding warrant, which was issued last week.
Police said they would not yet elaborate on the warrants because they're still reviewing the case. However, records show Pacquette has spent about six of the last 12 years in prison – mostly for charges related to manufacturing and selling cocaine, but also for grand theft.
