A man is facing a molestation charge after police say he groped a 14-year-old girl as she waited for a school bus in Hollywood.
David De Jesus Cuellar, 32, was arrested Monday on a charge of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim between 12-16, Hollywood Police said.
Cuellar was being held on $150,000 bond Tuesday, jail records showed. It was unknown if he's hired an attorney.
According to an arrest report, the girl said she was standing at the bus stop in the 1800 block of Madison Street near Hollywood Central Elementary School around 7 a.m. Monday when she was grabbed by Cuellar.
The girl said Cuellar grabbed her buttocks and when she tried to get away, he followed her and grabbed her right arm, the report said.
"Don't go anywhere, stay here," the man said to her, according to the report. The victim said she was able to forcefully pull her arm from his grip and run away.
The girl called her mom, who then called police. Cuellar was found in the area a short time later and taken into custody, the report said.
