A group of Florida firefighters rescued a 12-year-old golden retriever from a canal Monday, much to the relief of the animal’s concerned parents.
Kensey had been missing for three hours before she was found paddling in the water by Engine 9, a unit with the Cape Coral Fire Department.
Kensey’s owners, who were out on kayaks searching for the beloved dog, were relieved when they discovered her safely on land with the Cape Coral Fire Department.
Pictures posted on the department’s Facebook page show Kensey reunited with her owners after the rescue.
