Four men and a teenager were arrested after police say they participated in a violent armed robbery and an armed home invasion in northwest Miami-Dade.
Larry James March, 41, Andrew Figueroa, 31, Sergio Jesus Gonzalez, 29, Christopher Ramos, 27, and a 17-year-old were arrested Monday on armed robbery and armed home invasion charges, arrest reports said. March was also charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
The arrest reports said the first incident happened around 3 a.m. Monday, when a man who lives in the 8000 block of Northwest Miami Court was woken up by the suspects banging on his front door. When the victim opened the door, the suspects dragged him to the ground and started beating him while pointing their guns at him, the reports said.
At one point, March threatened the victim's child by pointing a firearm and yelling in Spanish "You want me to kill him!" the report said. The suspects stole the victim's wallet and fled the scene, the reports said.
A few hours later, a woman was leaving for work at her home at the Tropical Trailer Park on Northwest 79th Street when she was confronted by some of the suspects, who were armed and told her to go back inside her trailer, the reports said.
The woman begged the suspects not to hurt her as they went inside and started rummaging through her home. She was forced to enter her bedroom, and the teen held the door shut, the reports said.
When the woman heard the suspects leave the home she ran outside to get help and found Ramos and Gonzalez holding her flat screen TV and purse, the reports said. She started screaming for help and they dropped her TV on the street and fled in a car, the reports said. The suspects took her phone, $250 in cash, ID cards and work documents, the reports said.

The woman recognized March as a friend of her estranged husband, while the first robbery victim told police he knew the suspects from the neighborhood and could lead officers to them, the reports said.
While trying to find their homes, officers found the suspects in a car and took them into custody during a traffic stop, the reports said. The pink purse and the victim's identification card were found in the car, the reports said.
The four adult suspects were being held without bond Tuesday, jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
