The Coast Guard found three bodies Saturday 23 miles southeast of Islamorada while following up on a tip.
Coast Guard officials received the tip around 10:45 a.m., of a person in the water. An airplane found a body, and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission aircraft located two additional bodies a few hours later.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the FWC are assisting in search efforts for other survivors, or victims.
