Two of three teens involved in a drug-related attack in central Florida have pleaded guilty to reduced charges.
Florida Today reports that the 19-year-old women pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated battery. They had initially been charged with attempted murder.
A Brevard County circuit judge explained that the teens could each face up to 15 years in prison. Prosecutors asked that sentencing be delayed until after the case against their co-defendant, an 18-year-old man, was finished.
The women are expected to testify against the third teen, who authorities say beat 17-year-old Daniel Vukovich with a crowbar last February over a marijuana dispute. That teen remains in county jail.
