Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a shooting Thursday that killed two men at a Pompano Beach apartment complex.
Chopper footage showed the scene in the 300 block of Southeast 11th Avenue, where two bodies were seen on the ground outside of an apartment building.

>Bianca Garcia said her boyfriend, Joshua Moise, was on his way to her apartment when she heard back-to-back gunshots before 11 a.m.

>"I ran looking for him because I just knew something wasn’t right," she said.
Garcia saw her boyfriend his friend lying on the ground, shot. At least one bullet had hit Moise in the face.
"I jumped on top of his body immediately to try to help him in some way," she said.

Two people were detained for questioning but did not say if any arrests had been made.
"I don’t know why anybody would do this to him," Garcia said.
The area was contained, and there was no threat to the public.
Neighbors told NBC 6 they heard 10-12 shots and saw deputies tackle and detain a man.
“Bow bow bow bow bow, and I was like, 'Wow do you hear that?' I ran inside the house. He said, those are fireworks, and I said, those are not fireworks. Somebody has to be dead or something," resident Mike D'Angelo said.
Police have not officially released the identities of the victims.
