Authorities haven't released the teens' identities but according to a family GoFundMe page, the victim who died is Amari Dreakford.

His aunt described him as loved by many and said he will be deeply missed after this sudden loss.

Witnesses said the accused shooter was waiting for the two victims and then ambushed the teens. They said the shooter had something covering his face and was wearing a white t-shirt before he jumped into a car and drove away.

People who live nearby described seeing the shooter running and how they tried to help Dreakford before paramedics arrived.

"After the first victim fell on the floor, he just kept shooting him even after he fell and then after that he chased the second victim down the street," said a man, Rick, who didn't want to give his last name.

"He was bleeding from his mouth. he had got shot here (points to cheek), he had got shot in his leg, he had got shot one time in the stomach and somewhere by his private part area," witness Ihsan Sanders said. "It’s too close to home. My daughter plays out here every day so now when I come home, I be paranoid to even open my door half the time.”

Deputies are actively searching for the shooter.
