A 14-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car in a southwest Miami-Dade neighborhood Tuesday night, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
Officials said the boy was attempting to cross the street at Southwest 112th Avenue near 232nd Street in Princeton when he was struck by an oncoming Audi.

The boy, who hasn't been identified, died at the scene, FHP said.
Video from the scene showed the black Audi with damage to its front driver's side.

Southwest 112th Avenue was closed for the investigation.
