Deputies also confirmed that a third car was also involved in the crash but as a secondary impact. The driver was not reportedly injured.

Officials didn't release the identities of anyone involved.

"We are aware of an unfortunate accident involving a truck with a Wawa-branded trailer that occurred early this morning," Wawa said in a statement. "The tractor-trailer is owned and operated by a third-party logistics partner who we understand is cooperating with law enforcement to provide support for their ongoing investigation. We are keeping those impacted by the accident in our thoughts and prayers."
