Police have identified three people found dead inside a Hialeah home Tuesday.

Onelia Canales, Jennifer Cordero, and Juan Carlos Hernandez were found dead from gunshot wounds in an apparent double murder/suicide, police said Wednesday.

Authorities said Hernandez, 46, shot Canales, his wife of three months, and Cordero, his 16-year-old stepdaughter, before turning the gun on himself.

The bodies were found at their home at at 581 W. 40th Place after someone doing a welfare check made the discovery and called 911, police said.

The family had no documented history of domestic disturbances or domestic violence, according to police.

Police and Hialeah Fire Rescue responded to the scene, aerial footage showed.

Homicide investigators were at the scene early Wednesday as three bodies were removed from the home.
