With a more serious role in "La Casa De Al Lado" behind him, Gabriel Valenzuela is ready to take on a new show that will show him in a much different light.
The Colombian star spoke of his excitement during Miami Fashion Week sponsored by Rimmel London where he was fashion-forward and excited to see that men can now find many more dressing options thanks to a new wave of designers that keep today's man in mind.
Fashion won’t matter too much to his new character on “Marido En Alquiler" (Husband for Hire).
“In this new production for Telemundo and Globo, I'm leaving behind my more complex characters and having fun! You can expect to see some beach scenes and a lot more skin in general.”
The telenovela, which also stars Juan Soler, Sonya Smith, and Maritza Rodriguez, tells the story of a strong and determined woman who works as a handyman to support her family and who will find love where she least expects it. Filming of the Brazilian re-make began in mid-February in South Florida and is set to air this summer.
And while Valenzuela showed his support for Hispanic designers including Venezuelan, Nicolas Felizola and Brazilian, Carlos Miele during Miami Fashion Week, the father o -two also confessed he’s a fan of many different designers.
“I love fashion and a couple of my favorite for menswear including Hugo Boss and Gucci. When it comes to seeing a woman dressed up for a night out I love to see them wear Herve Leger. Their trademark bandage dress gives them such an amazing shape!”
