Police are investigating after a woman's body was found in a car in North Miami Beach Tuesday.
The discovery was made in the area of Northeast 14th Avenue and Northeast 157th Street around 12:30 p.m.
Officers responding to a call for a sick or injured person found the body in the passenger seat of the black Volkswagen Jetta, North Miami Beach Police said.
The car was towed to the medical examiner's office and as of now the death is unclassified, police said.
The identity of the victim wasn't released. A neighbor who lives in the car said the car had been parked there since Sunday.
No other information was immediately known.
