Passengers traveling on Spirit Airlines could be experiencing delays after a system-wide network outage for over an hour Tuesday morning.
Both the Miramar based airline and Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport posted messages on social media announcing the problem on Spirit’s website that is keeping the airline from being able to check in passengers and board flights.
The airline announced the problem had been fixed shortly after 9 a.m., but advised those with scheduled flights to check with the airline before coming to the airport to see if their flight was still delayed or by calling 801-401-2222 or reaching out on social media.
