Crews were diverting traffic in Miami Beach on Wednesday, due to a sinkhole.
According to the City of Miami Beach, northbound traffic on Collins Avenue was being diverted westbound at 41st Street. 44th Street, the northbound corner on Collins, was closed to drivers.
City officials said the service line from the Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach Hotel at 4343 Collins Avenue broke. The line carries wastewater.
Miami Beach Public Works crews were called to the scene to make repairs. They patched up the sinkhole and reopened the roadway to traffic late Wednesday evening.
Earlier this week, another sinkhole opened on Southwest 27th Avenue in Miami. The roadway was closed for most of the day on Monday between 6th and 7th streets.
