Miami-Dade police responded to the scene of an officer involved shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade Wednesday evening.
NBC 6's Jamie Guirola is on the scene and reports a Neighborhood Resource Unit on bike patrol responded to shots fired at 840 NW 76 Street.
Miami-Dade Police said after a confrontation, the officer fired and killed the subject. Police also said an automatic firearm was secured on the scene.
