Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Miramar overnight Friday.
The pedestrian was crossing State Road 441 near the 2400 block around midnight when he was struck and killed by a white cargo van, Miramar Police said.
The victim, later identified as 47-year-old Clive R. Frater, was killed at the scene. The van fled southbound on S.R. 441 and has front and left front-end damage, police said.
