Authorities say a southwest Florida man caught a burglar who broke into his apartment and held him down until deputies arrived.
Manatee County Sheriff's officials said 28-year-old Michael Hai woke up Saturday morning and found two men burglarizing his apartment. Hai chased them out of the apartment and eventually caught one of them.

Authorities said Hai held 19-year-old James Martin until deputies arrived. The second suspect fled in a silver car.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports that electronics taken from Hai's apartment reportedly were dropped outside and recovered.
