A man killed himself Friday morning after he entered his ex-girlfriend's home and fired bullets through several of the doors, the Davie Police Department said.
Authorities said the 20-year-old man fired several shots into the sliding glass door of his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend's house and entered the home around 6:45 a.m.
The man made his way to the upstairs bedroom of the girl's mother, where he again fired shots through the door, according to Davie Police.
The ex-girlfriend, who heard the noise, saw the man and followed him through her mother's room and into a bathroom.
Police said he committed suicide without saying a word to his ex or to her mother.
Neither the girl nor her mother was injured during the home invasion.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and said the names of those involved will be released after they notify the deceased's family members.
