Authorities in Florida evacuated residents of several homes after a massive sinkhole opened in the ground Friday morning.
Pasco County Fire Rescue crews and sheriff's deputies responded to the neighborhood in Land O'Lakes, north of Tampa, around 7:20 a.m.
Authorities said they received a 911 call of a small depression that was forming, but it quickly swallowed a boat and moved towards a house.
A short time later, one home went into the hole and an hour later, another home went in as the sinkhole grew to 200 feet wide, officials said.
Video released by the county showed one of the homes collapsing into the hole.

Fire officials said one home is a complete loss and the other was an approximately 60 percent loss. They said the sinkhole was still active and told people to avoid the area.
A total of eleven homes were evacuated. No one was injured and fire rescue workers removed two animals from homes, officials said.
Officials said emergency management officials are heading to the scene. Sheriff's office deputies also responded to the scene to set up checkpoints and keep traffic out of the area.
Property records showed a sinkhole at the same site was confirmed in 2012 as "stabilized." The home was sold in 2015.
