Henry was armed, and pulled out a gun and shot at the suspects. One was killed, while the other got away and remains on the loose.
"The suspect was wearing dark clothing and we are actively investigating the case," said Meredith Elrich of the Hollywood Police Department.
Witnesses told NBC 6 that they saw Henry shoot at the men six times.
Police have identified the suspect who died as Aldaberto Hernandez. The second robber who took off on foot has not been identified.
A Domino's spokesman said the company is fully cooperating with authorities but can't comment because there is an active police investigation.
“He’s fine but right now I don’t have anything from corporate telling me to talk to you guys,” an employee said.
Anyone with information on the second would-be robber is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
