Police helicopters and K-9 units were seen Tuesday swarming a neighborhood in northwest Miami-Dade after reports of a shooting in Miami Gardens.
A search is underway near northwest 63rd Street and 24th Avenue.
Police said the shooting suspects led officers on a chase from Miami Gardens. They fled on foot at the end of the car chase.
The shooting happened near a home located on northwest 155th terrace and 24th avenue.
Three males were sitting in a car when another car pulled up and shots were fired.
One person was shot and taken to a nearby hospital.
The suspects were driving in a black Chrysler 200.

Police tell us the people involved in the incident are known gang members.
