Firefighters responded to a massive house fire in Northwest Miami Monday morning that left at least two family pets dead.
Crews responded to the house fire located at 651 NW 3rd Street shortly before 9 a.m., Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said.
Footage showed flames and smoke coming from the five-unit complex. All of the residents were safely evacuated.
Carroll said ten people live in the complex but no one was injured. Two cats were found dead in the complex, Carroll said.
All of the residents, including six adults and four children will be displaced. The Red Cross will be providing them assistance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
