A large fire that broke out Monday night at an airplane hangar has destroyed two airplanes, two motorcycles, a golf cart and a BMW vehicle, according to Pompano Beach Fire Rescue.
The incident occured around 9:30 p.m. at Pompano Beach Airpark located at 1011 Northeast 10th Street.
"Always sad to see a plane like this. It's a lovely airplane, this is a six-seater piper Saratoga," said Sean Dunne, a pilot of a burned plane.
Although nobody was injured in the fire, Firefighter Adam Mysiuk was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion.
Investigators believe the fire may have been caused by an electrical issue.
