Fire crews are working to extinguish a brush fire in Lauderhill that is causing some traffic hazards on Florida's Turnpike, officials said.
Heavy smoke is blowing over the Turnpike in the area of NW 51st Avenue and 17th Street, officials from Lauderhill Fire Rescue said on Twitter.
Authorities are urging drivers to use caution when commuting through the area.
