Rally Calling for Justice, End to Violence After Shooting Deaths of Young Children

A rally calling for justice and a stop to all the gun violence here in South Florida took place Thursday.

The rally was held in honor of Jada Page, who was just eight-years-old when she was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade earlier this month. Police have yet to find the person responsible for the shooting.

"I don't know what else to do, what else to say. I tried to protect her as best as possible," said mother Rosalind Brown, who attended the rally.

The message of the rally, which was held along Northwest 95th Street and 17th Avenue, was to tell law enforcement, political leaders and the community that they want these killers off the streets.

"It's painful and we go back and we suffer after these events," said Tangela Sears, whose son died in gun violence.
