A mother and father were arrested afer leaving their two toddlers alone at home without supervision for more than three hours, Miramar Police said.
Kia Salichs, 20, and Christoher Daniel, 21, were arrested on Wednesday and face a charge of child neglect without great bodily harm. It wasn't immediately known if they had attorneys.
Police said they got a call from a neighbor, who said someone was throwing things out of a window. Officers investigated and found the 2 and 1-year-old alone.
The parents admitted they weren't home, but they claim an older sibling was watching them, but the sibling wasn't at home when police arrived, authorities said.
